The Autonomous Community of Murcia and the City reached an agreement to establish a complete system of subsidies for public transport, which will mean cheaper tickets districts and bond recovery for students and maintaining retirement gratuity and large families.
The intercity ticket prices increase from 2.15 euros to 1.5 euros current, while the urban tickets are set at 1.05 euros.
Also establishes two types of bonds for transhipments which can be made up to 24 trips and will cost 12 euros to 15 euros for students and the general user.
The Community and Murcia City Council also agreed on a bonus exclusively designed for college through which may have an unlimited number of trips per month and will be worth 22 euros.
After a meeting held this morning between the heads of the Ministry of Public Works and Planning and the concessionaire Latbus, has determined that the new rates will take effect next Monday, October 8.
Pensioners and families with special travel free
Moreover, the agreement between the two institutions also provides maintenance called 'Bono 100', by which retirees can travel for free and without any restrictions (flat rate) in public road transport.
Large families will continue to be another big benefit of the bonus system, because for them the government establishes two types of bonds: general and special.
The first will be 20 and will cost 10 euros travel.
In the case of special, like retirees, will have unlimited free rides.
