The councilman of Social Welfare, María del Carmen Pelegrin, opened the second meeting of Citizen Participation held in the neighborhood of the Holy Spirit (Espinardo), under the actions that are part of the Urban Plan.
Pelegrin presented the diplomas of different courses that have been made throughout this year to go on a tour organized by the exhibition spaces, and 20:30 hours, the viewing of two audiovisual Workshop Video.
On the second day, Tuesday 24 and 20 hours, are provided three discussion groups.
We've called Barrio attractive, to discuss improvements to the physical space (Espinardo Cultural Centre) Creative Community on the social and cultural (Center for Social Services "Murcia North") and the Cultural District, on improving the economic environment (in the new premises of the IUES, behind the church).
On July 25 is the final act of meeting, between 21 and 23 hours and the Plaza of the Constitution.
Will be time to review the progress of the project giving voice to some of the participants in it and ending with a final gala of Dance, Drama and Music, which will be broadcast live on the Video Workshop students.

Holy Spirit "is a project of the City of Murcia for the economic and social revitalization of the neighborhood of the Holy Spirit Espinardo.
The project is part of the Urban Initiative, sponsored by Directorate General of Community Funds of the Ministry of Finance which aims to promote social cohesion.
The draft strategy proposes a participatory model in which citizen involvement plays a central role in the regeneration of the Holy Spirit, as an organ of involvement, opinion and consultation, without legal personality, based on cooperation among neighbors , citizen organizations and local government.
In March 2010, held the First Meeting of Citizen Participation, and since then the process has continued with the operation of the Forum, through assemblies and working groups that have enabled the active involvement of more than 300 people in the design, preparation and development of actions.
The celebration of the second meeting takes place in a framework of progress.
It has launched an important set of scheduled actions, such as the Action with Families, Artistic Activities Dance and Theatre School Extracurricular Activities and Parent, Multi-purpose Sports Hall, and other creative and participatory activities to facilitate the involvement of residents in neighborhood design, such as "Paths of Wisdom" and "Building a Place for Living".
The objectives are to participate the meeting are:
• Inform citizens about the actions and activities under the project since its inception.
• Analyze, assess and evaluate the actions and activities.
• Meet, discuss and exchange ideas and proposals among neighbors, associations and municipal administration.
Also, recipients of the project are:
• Members of associations and groups participating in the Forum for Social Participation Project Initiative URBAN Espinardo Holy Spirit, and any organization interested in collaborating with the project.
• Residents interested in the project information and make their contributions.
• Any person who, individually and voluntarily wish to agree to collaborate on the project.
