Throughout the whole weekend, Murcia will become the capital of pop.
In 2012 the Lemon Pop takes a new momentum and recovers its popular demo contest, which announced Klaus & Kinski.
This third edition has put focus on Dog.
Few festivals can boast a long and distinguished career as, without compromising the hallmarks that have become the benchmark and unique proposal in the Spanish festival circuit, reaching a mark of prestige and value, showing that it is possible to keep counter without worrying about the big numbers (although the 2007 edition brought together more than 25000 spectators), the benefit of comfort that allows better enjoy the live music.
Among the huge number of festivals that dot the national territory, the Lemon Pop, organized by the city of Murcia, is distinctive enough to stand the heavy pack.
One is that it is free, made especially remarkable in view of the solvency of the cast of his latest artistic renditions.
The Lemon Pop is comfortable, intimate, close, and offers the possibility to enjoy the music without fear of being devoured by the masses.
Despite the crisis, the musical lineup is still tempting.
Made with care and attention, it is irresistible to those who follow the sparkling and colorful new Spanish pop (and foreign), without losing the essence and avoiding the use of the names easier.
As we have big heads of the festival this year to the Asturian Nosoträsh, Sweden's The Sound of Arrows or Madrid Wheels, different ways of understanding pop, supported by the revelations Double Plate, Cut your hair and Dolores, the latter recognized as 'Best Group revelation' in the recent Independent Music Awards.
Not to mention the British pop group Hall & The Strange Sounds and Pocketbooks, or to Lidia Damunt Murcia, Varry Brava or, of course Dog, winners of our third contest recovered models, it has had, as in previous editions, a dramatic response.
In addition, the usual afterlemons with Dom Gonzalo.
Dj ÁngelPop Universal, which will lead the party until dawn.
To get you started on Thursday, September 6 there will be the welcome party, which is already, in recent years, more properly an added day of the festival, with Ross (who will do the world premiere of his new album), Tortel and Nunatak promising.
