The existence of many women and households composed of immigrant women and their children who are in conditions of social disadvantage, caused by ill-treatment, separation, abandonment, viuedad, etc.., Columbares Association of Murcia is undertaking a project integration of these most disadvantaged women.
The City of Murcia, through the Department of Social Welfare and Health, which runs María del Carmen Pelegrin, will sign a cooperation agreement with Columbares Association, which has been approved by the Governing Board recently, to help social and labor insert these women in society.
The program is designed for immigrant women at risk of social exclusion, alone, with children in their care and / or pregnant with the possibility of:
- Lack of primary support (spouse, family, close friends, etc..), Or that even with this support are children living in unfavorable conditions for development (housing insecurity, overcrowding ...).
- Lack of sufficient financial resources to ensure the survival of children and / or access to housing which meets the conditions for the development of family life.
The project objectives are:
- To facilitate the reception of single immigrant women with dependent children and / or pregnant.
- To publicize the use of the floors of host associations, organizations and public institutions to establish mechanisms for collaboration and coordination.
- Make the reception of the users of the project.
- Inform users about the existing endogenous resources in the host municipality.
- Advise on legal issues.

- Provide psychosocial support to women beneficiaries of the project.
- Assist in care and care of minors.
- Involve primary supports (if any family members, friends, etc..), In the process of improving the conditions that favor the social integration of women and children.
- To facilitate the social integration of immigrant women and labor difficulties in social integration through better training.
- Provide advice and support actively seeking employment.
- Facilitate access to training tailored to the specific needs of users.
- Promote actions of information / training on issues related to health education.
