The University of Murcia is home to the second seminar of Genetics and Immunology for the control of pathogens in Aquaculture, held until 24 May and involving multiple universities, organizations and companies, among which are the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, the State University of Maringá (Brazil), the University of Chile and the Catholic University of Valparaíso.
The activities developed consist of visits and meetings, as well as a theoretical-industrial workshop and several tours highlighting the academic seminar open to students and teachers have been organized for tomorrow, day 23 in the hall of degrees of the Faculty of Biology, Espinardo campus.
Participants will teach Latin American experience in aquaculture field that are pioneers, especially in breeding for resistance to pathogens.
The meeting is organized by professors Mulero Victoriano and Jorge Galindo, the research group Nonspecific Immune System of Teleost Fish.
