The IU-Green spokesman in Murcia today denounced the "inefficiency and neglect" of the City Council for not even given a plot for construction of new school "New Schools" in the hamlet of El Palmar.
Herguedas has expressed support for parents of pupils of the school, which closed its doors last July for risk of ruin, so that students have had to pass the course distributed to other schools.
The mayor has considered "unacceptable" that the council has not completed the transfer of land for the new school despite having had "ample time" to reach an agreement with the Ministry of Education.
"The City Council shows that it is willing to manage the matter on an urgent basis, which was agreed unanimously by the full City", he said.
Also wondered why the Councillor for Education said the transfer was already made when "this is not true" and what is doing the government team to expedite the process.
In this situation, which he described as "negligence" by the City, Herguedas has announced it will present an initiative at the next regular full.
