"Europe and the Jewish world" marks the beginning of the XII Festival Murcia Three Cultures (10/05/2012)

The lectures, films, symposia and exhibitions will accompany the music and dance in a new edition in 18 scenarios to be used shall be construed 17 participating artists and musicians from 21 countries

The Murcia Three Cultures Festival keeps his appointment with Murcia and, in May, took another year, the squares, streets and most emblematic venues of the city, proving once again that it is possible to reconcile ideas and religions through music, dance and speech.

Many of the shows are held outdoors, in public spaces for his legacy and tradition are deeply linked to the history of the city and the essence of this festival.

In total there are 18 different scenarios, it will play a total of 17 musicians and artists will participate from 21 countries, Portugal being the guest of this new edition.

The thirteenth edition of Murcia Three Cultures Festival will be held on Monday, May 14, with the lecture:

European Film Road is an initiative of the Office of the European Parliament and European Commission Representation in Spain that aims to disseminate some of the best European films of recent years in locations throughout the Spanish territory and create spaces for debate and reflection .

The cycle comes to Murcia in collaboration with the Film Festival and the Three Cultures.

Medieval references: seven images, seven painters

Along the urban area of ​​Murcia we can find lots of references and flashes that remind us of a medieval past that usually goes unnoticed by the traveler.

Highlight those details of the time when lived in Murcia Three Cultures, is the goal of this exhibition.

In the lines of the project Murcia Found, seven painters show their vision of so many places with medieval references.

From 15 May to 24 August at the City Museum.

The exhibition also presented this year with the same artists in previous years, goes into living streets and buildings with different functions in today, with medieval references.
