The Department of Urban Cleaning and Waste Management of the City of Murcia, led by José Ros, has prepared a special device for Easter with the aim of enhancing the cleaning services to respond adequately to the needs of the city during this time.

Services will be intensified during these days in order to address the areas which provide greater influx of people and events as well as streets that are part of the processional routes, in accordance with the schedules of departures and running of the different brotherhoods.

Specifically, when ordinary service is performed daily will add extra 151 days of workers, plus it will be extended over 56 days outstanding machinery for cleaning the streets.

With this reinforcement is expected to achieve, as has happened in previous years, the maximum speed and efficiency when left clean the streets after the processions.

Cleanup crews will begin their work about an hour after the start of the procession, clearing the path that takes place behind her.

Immediately after the final passage of the procession and once cleared the streets will continue with the cleaning media reinforced even more to get the work completed and the streets are completely clean at the earliest.

Also, cleaning the city center will intensify during the holidays

The proposed arrangements will perform the cleanup of the Easter processions today, Good Friday, and until Easter Sunday.
