Prestigious American universities visit the UCAM (28/03/2012)

San Antonio Catholic University of Murcia (UCAM) has welcomed this morning a dozen vice presidents and directors of internationally prestigious American universities.

Notable among the objectives of the visit boost the study of Spanish in the U.S., enhance the exchange of students between different institutions, the development of research projects, in addition to strengthening the strategic partnership between the UCAM and universities Americans.

During the ceremony have intervened rector of International Relations and Communication, Paul Blesa, and Communications Director, Jose Luis Mendoza Garcia, both of the UCAM.

Meanwhile, one of the assistants, the assistant dean of International Relations at the University of Puerto Rico, Luis Fernando Irizarry-Ramirez, stressed the importance of Spanish in the U.S.

Similarly, Irizarry-Ramirez has been reported that "this visit is important for us because we can learn new universities as the UCAM, with which we aim to establish links and collaborations in educational terms.
