The PSOE vote against "a new urban pitch" in the precise area where the Science and Technology Park (28/03/2012)

Councilman John Patrick Castro said that the amendment of the record 26/05 is just another speculative operation of the PP that favors only the companies involved, with the approval of an increase in residential use that will allow triple the number of dwellings, from 2,378 to 6,673

The mayor Juan Patricio Castro explained today during the course of regular plenary session voted against the Socialist Group to approve the change point of the record 26/05 of the General Plan (General Urban Plan) in the north, where it develops Science and Technology Park.

It is thanks to the adoption of this record by the PP of La Glorieta-Castro stressed there is a considerable increase in residential floor area will allow the area to triple the number of homes, from 2,378 to 6673, and not to benefit precisely from the general interest of Murcia, because another operation is more speculative, similar to that of the northern agreements favoring the owners of the soil have increased 278% residential use.

Clarified this point, the PSOE councilor stressed that it would have to ask yourself is who are those homeowners who have been touched so great lottery, because what we do is ironically paradoxical is that Castro has more floor area for residential use (663 303 m2) than for scientific purposes (579,883 m2), when it is a Science and Technology Park which represents a production model, so essential in these days.

Following the conventions of the North, the local PP continues to exercise the role of urban accomplice of another pitch with which, as usual, insisted the socialist mayor continues to reward a few at the expense of the citizens of Murcia and the public interest.

"It's going to build another city of 20,000 residents in the north, without there even the slightest possibility that it may cover basic services like education, health and public transport", was completed.
