The office of Rector of the University of Murcia, located in the building of Convalescence, has welcomed today, March 28, the presentation of XII convocation of Photography Award organized by the Hall of Plastic Arts of the University of Murcia.
The XII Prize of Photography Hall of Plastic Arts of the University of Murcia, worth 1500 euros, is organized by the educational institution and is sponsored by "El Corte Ingles".
The ceremony was presided by Jose Antonio Cobacho, Rector of the University of Murcia, who was accompanied by Mercedes Batlle Farias, Vice Chancellor of University Extension and eGovernment, Rafael Alvarez-Ossorio, director of the department store "El Corte Ingles" of the Tyre, Santiago Sánchez Ruíz, director of external relations of the same shopping center in Murcia, Francisco Cano Knight, coordinator of the Visual Arts at the University of Murcia.
The latter noted that begins a new journey with a new sponsor and the possibility of more exhibitions to promote young artists.
In this same fact have referred both Jose Antonio Cobacho, as the Vice President Mercedes Farias, who has said that the new sponsor provides the university with "the possibility of continuing with this award to project beyond the university boundary."
The deadline for submission of photographs begin on June 1 and runs until 12 March.
