The City of Murcia receives five bids for the provision of new urban public tranport service (28/03/2012)

Iniesta has been suggested that with the new service, the municipal public transport service will become interconnected, with good frequency and effective with five well-marked target to achieve that are:

- Any Murcia will have a bus stop within a distance of 300 meters

- The service will be operational 17 hours a day

- The frequency shall not exceed ten minutes during peak hours (from 7.30 to 9.30; from 13.30 to 15.30, and 18.30 to 21 hours) and 20 minutes in the remaining hours.

- Any origin-destination trip will take a maximum of one transfer

- The public transport system bus will be coordinated with other public transportation in the municipality.

The aim is to create a network of transport connections and strengthen relationships between the major attractions of Murcia travel.
