Promoting intercultural (24/03/2012)

The garden of the Fountain of the hamlet of El Palmar is hosting this morning's activity Source of Cultures "

The Community Action Center "Los Rosales" attached to the Municipal Center of Social Services "South Murcia" belonging to the Department of Health and Social Welfare of the City of Murcia, who heads Maria del Carmen Pelegrin, has developed various activities to raise awareness population and promote multiculturalism.

For the third year and due to the success of previous editions, now conducts an intercultural activity in the neighborhood of the Rosales of El Palmar on the theme: "THE POWER OF CULTURES".

The aim of the activity is open and disclose the hamlet of El Palmar intercultural living in the neighborhood of Los Rosales.

The activity was held today in the Garden of the Fountain, located on Main Street (next to Jose M. Parraga CEIP) of El Palmar, from 11.00 until 14.00 hours.

This activity will involve the development of various activities by the participating organizations and associations such as:

Entertainment and dancing.

Traditional games in the world.

Henna Workshop, cajón workshop, workshop braids ...

Exhibition of crafts and costumes.

Tasting of typical dishes from the participating countries.
