The Minister of Culture and Tourism, Pedro Alberto Cruz, participated today in the presentation of the book The Coloraos.
Report of the sixth centenary, which is a reflection of the events held by the Confraternity of the Blood from the 1 July 2010 and throughout 2011 on the occasion of its 600th anniversary.
Cruz said that "the whole philosophy has been instilled in this publication is by no means casual," adding that the book eminently visual, has an intention "democratic and equalizing."
This is because, he said, to "acts which are collected and form the sixth anniversary of the guild are not centered on a fundamental fact" but a "juxtaposition of small and major events," all collected in the book .
The Minister noted that "most of the images that make up this visual narrative are set" and many of them are developed outside, "with citizens of Murcia," which ultimately "is the main purpose of the Brotherhood. "
Finally, Pedro Alberto Cruz said the book has the character of memory, "and memories can not be seen in its true sense of an immediate way."
It also expressed its conviction that the publication "will become a major historical documents" of the brotherhood and Easter in Murcia.
