Teatro Circo Murcia started a new initiative to climb the social issues tables of interest (22/03/2012)

In order to project to the citizens of Murcia, Murcia Circus Theatre, in collaboration with the Union of Actors of Murcia and the School of Dramatic Arts in Murcia, is launching a new initiative, the Timely cycle Theatre, a series thematic readings represented by groups that are pertinent to the topic at hand.

It is a cycle of readings represented with which, based on texts that are related to social issues of particular interest, is intended to provide four to five sessions each year on dates to be announced promptly.

The readings will be performed by actors and actresses of the Region of Murcia, and directed by professionals of particular importance.

Also, each text relate to professional groups seek to benefit from debate and controversy they generate.

Each work is offered in a single function, and will be recorded by Onda Regional, after the broadcast.

The primary target in addition to the collective staff, degree students will be related to the topics and the general public.

International Theatre Day

Reading the message of the International Theatre Day will be held on Tuesday, March 27, at 19 hours, the director of the School of Dramatic Art, Jose Angel Serrano Masegoso.

The event will be presented by the President of the High Court of the Region of Murcia

The first staged reading will be to Twelve Angry Men, by Reginald Rose.

Directed by Javier Mateo.

This is an adaptation of Fulgencio Martinez Lax.

Invitations to attend will be given to full capacity, which can be collected on the day of performance at the box office hours.

There will be a maximum of 4 cards per person.

This first reading was done to coincide with the International Theatre Day, will take place at the TCM with the main idea of ​​promoting a reflection on social issues of particular interest and relevance.

The next meeting will be held on May 29, at 19 hours.
