The International Competition of Tunas "Costa Calida" celebrates its silver jubilee (20/03/2012)

In full Spring Festival, Murcia hosts a year the International contest Tunas Costa Calida, that this time celebrates its silver anniversary.

The event takes place on 11, 12 and April 13 in the traditional pergola Gardens of St. Basil, at 22 hours.

The poster for this year is the work of Francisco Canovas.

Francisco Canovas, Murcian artist born in 1941.

Through techniques such as oil painting, watercolor, acrylics or pastels, the artist manages to capture in his works while simplicity and essentiality.

His painting has it suggests, in a concern that involves a continuous search.

The starting point is the real, sometimes landscape references, but only as an allusion to watch and then make a deep synthesis of predominantly light, composition and the stain.

The celebration will herald the journalist, Miguel Manzanares Massotti.

The city of Lorca has been selected as Grand Master, and the Matron will be the host of The 7 Region of Murcia, Encarna Talavera.

The gala will take place at the Teatro Circo Murcia, at 22 pm on 9 April.

The City of Murcia has been working since its inception with the Cultural Association of Tunas International Competition "Costa Calida" and the Tuna of the Faculty of Medicine of Murcia.

Tuna District of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria

Tuna of Medicine, University of La Laguna (Tenerife)

8.

Tuna of UNED of Elche (Alicante)

Tuna, Faculty of Medicine of Murcia

There will be three prizes for the best tunas and six awards will be: Ginés Torrano the best solo Star panderete Levantes the best, better Bandera, best parades, the English Court to award ONCE Musicality and the most original productions .
