The Socialist Party argues that the City debt to suppliers amounted to 136 million euros (16/03/2012)

Councilman John Patrick Castro laments once again the institutional disloyalty responsible for Finance, Isabel Martinez Conesa, by failing to provide information on the list of creditors invoices sent to the Ministry of Finance and on the implementation of 2011 budget

The socialist mayor Juan Patricio Castro maintains that the debt is not paid to the City of Murcia providers totaled 136 million euros, 14.3 percent more than in 2010 which reached 119 million euros.

Also, Castro regrets that the council of finance, Isabel Martinez Conesa, do not send information to opposition political groups on the list of creditors invoices sent to the Ministry of Finance to qualify for the ICO and the budget 2011.

Information gap

"On March 31 we still have information on the budget since late September, so we have a significant information gap on the accounts of this institution," the Socialist councilor.

To this day he continues, the Socialist Group also has no data, no simple reference on the list of bills sent to the Ministry, we have only the information provided yesterday by the mayor of the Treasury press release in which surprisingly only take into consideration the large enterprises (Cespa-Ferrovial, to name some examples) and is excluded from the list to small and medium enterprises to which the Council owes money and who are the ones that are faring worse.

What about SMEs?

What about SMEs?

Questioned Castro-who claims that "for the PP is always easier to play with citizens and small and medium enterprises, with banks, and in this sense, insists on remembering that SMEs are very resentful and economically public administration is the cause, along with the financial sector, for companies close and increase unemployment.

Finally, the PSOE councilor described as "unbelievable statements made by Martinez Conesa in the press release sent yesterday to the media when referring to the Consistory has lifted 22.7 million debt to suppliers, when has really done is change the creditor, and now instead of owing to a particular company, owes the banks.
