Mayor Miguel Angel House, presided over the official reception that the City offers candidates Reina de la Huerta.
The ceremony took place in the Plenary Hall
Starting today, the candidates will serve a comprehensive calendar of events that end with the election of new queens and subsequent coronation, to be held on March 24 and April 7 respectively.
Last Sunday was celebrated the festive day at the headquarters of the Federation of Peñas vegetable garden.
In any case, the big day will be April 10, when hosting the Bando de la Huerta.
The reception began at the doors of City Hall in La Glorieta, where the mayor has waited the arrival of the procession formed by the 28 candidates and 34 older children.
Together they have accessed the Plenary Hall, which have entered the Queen Children 2011, Andrea Aragon, arm councilman Festival and Popular Culture, Rafael Gomez, and Chairman of the Federation, Antonio Aviles.
Behind them, have entered the hall the Mayor of Murcia and the Queen of the Garden 2011, Maria Alejandra Peñaranda.
Individually, each of the candidates has received a City pin.
Below we have a few words the President of the Federation and the Mayor, who wished every success to all candidates.
The event ended after listening to the Hymn to Murcia and proceed to the exchange of gifts.
