The University of Murcia, through ITI unit offers new technology support services for researchers who require complex infrastructures for their projects.
Additionally, the unit includes actions ITI computer security advice and configuration backups.
In line with other initiatives of the austerity plan of the institution, and improving coordination of services to optimize computing resources and computer, so as to increase the supply and efficiency without the need to undertake additional spending.
Similarly, the University seeks to save on electricity consumption and packaging offering its Data Processing Centers to regroup scattered computing elements, which may benefit from more stable conditions uninterruptible power supply, temperature and security access.
Area depends ITI Information Technology and Communications Applied (ATTICA) and Service Research Support (UPS).
