The Governing Council of the University of Murcia has agreed to set a series of preferred strategic actions that are intended to support the research action and especially to continue the same.
The educational institution has set the date of July 1 as a stop to determine this type of strategic actions for which they have met minimum requirements.
Moreover, this governing body has approved multi-year spending of the works of the research center of mixed vegetables and health food, to raise the old baseball field Espinardo campus.
The project involves an investment of 4.2 million euros, out of annuities in 2012 and 2013.
Finally, the Governing Council has learned the results of the election of head of department representatives and university research institutes in the committees of the same.
The elect have been Luis Melero José Fuentes, Pedro Miguel Ruiz Martinez and Maria del Carmen Lopez Aniorte.
