Tourism publishes new publications for visitors to know the Baroque Murcia (09/03/2012)

Two brochures and a magazine in Spanish and English collected in detail the main monuments of the city

The Department of Tourism has released two new brochures to publicize the baroque heritage of the city, and the journal Tourism in Murcia which shows the main attractions of the town.

The Councillor for Sports, Youth and Tourism, Miguel Cascales, this morning the three publications that are intended to provide detailed information to visitors to Murcia.

Cascales recalled that both the magazine and brochures are in Spanish and English, one of the objectives of Murcia plan 365, which is to translate all the brochures published by the Department and all information of the local Visitor Centres in several languages, mainly English, French and German.

The booklet 'Murcia baroque city' has two different formats, a triptych, which contains the main baroque churches, a description of each one and pictures as well as a plan of the historic old city with the location of each churches.

This leaflet contains information about the imafronte of the Cathedral, the Museum Salzillo, the San Juan de Dios church, church of Santa Eulalia, San Juan Bautista church, convent church of La Merced, the convent of Santa Ana, Santo Domingo Church , monastery of Santa Clara la Real, San Miguel church, convent church of the Augustinian nuns, church of San Andrés, Carmelite church, Church of Our Father Jesus, Church of St. Nicholas of Bari, church and convent of San Pedro Veronicas .

The booklet has 20 pages and offers a tour of religious and civic buildings of the city, with pictures, a plane where all the monuments are located, and a description of the building and its history.

This is the same extended information offered in the brochure, but in this publication are added civilian buildings as the palace Fontes, Bishop's Palace, Museum of Fine Arts, Palace Vinader, Malecon promenade, bridge and parking Dangers Camachos .

These brochures are free and visitors can pick up the office and tourist information points in the municipality.

Murcia Tourism Magazine is the most comprehensive publication which is published as it features 80 pages of great quality, with striking photographs and all kinds of information and interesting facts on the town, location, climate, transportation, history, useful telephone numbers , etc.

It also proposes several routes to meet the cultural and historical heritage of Murcia and the history and characteristics of the main monuments, visitor centers and museums.

The publication is in English and Spanish and distributed in hotels, through the Convention Bureau, national and international fairs and given to groups that want to present the city of Murcia outside our borders.

15,000 copies are published in this magazine published by Eca Guides and Advertising.

Promote Murcia is also the aim of the new packages' Murcia Baroque ',' Discover Murcia 'and' Murcia gladly, "which offers accommodation in four star hotel, tours and dining experience from 35 euros / person.

These packages shall vary, expanded and supplemented including new tours and dining experiences in bridges, local festivals and major events.
