The University of Murcia has opened today, March 8, coinciding with the celebration of International Women's Day, the Newspaper "Clara Campoamor, which will combine the funds of Law and Humanities.
After the inauguration, the president of the University, José Antonio Cobacho, made a tour of the new facility, located in the annex to the Law on the campus of Mercy.
The new Newspaper is a place of study and consultation aimed at training for researchers and doctoral theses and graduate work.
The opening ceremony was also attended by the Secretary General, Joaquín Lomba, the Vice Chancellor for Research and Internationalization, the director of the University Library, Lourdes Cobacho, and the Dean of the Faculty of Law, Faustino Cava, and other academic positions.
The name, adopted in Ordinary Session of the Governing Council, who paid tribute to his defense of the Spanish Cortes achieved the recognition of voting rights of women, which was adopted on October 1, 1931.
