Barquero Alicia participates with members of Women's Centers of Murcia and Alguazas

Representatives from Centers for Women and women's associations in the municipality of Murcia participate this morning in the meeting "Women in the way ', organized by the Tourist Consortium of the Northwest Greenway and the municipalities of Murcia, Albudeite, Alguazas, Bullas, Campos del Rio, Caravaca de la Cruz, Cehegin and Mula, on the occasion of International Women's Day on 8 March.

This initiative will enable women's associations of the municipalities through which runs the route exchanges.

The representatives of the municipality of Murcia participate in the activity with women Alguazas.

Also, will feature the Councillor for Equality Policy and Development Cooperation, Alicia Barquero, and technicians for Equality of the City of Murcia.

During the day will go a stretch of the Via and will visit a tourist point of the host municipality.

In addition, the participating associations to engage in an exchange of cards and receive a gift from the Institute for Women of the Directorate General for Equal Opportunities.

In the Northwest Greenway will install a plaque commemorating the occasion of this activity, and plant trees donated by the Foundation Cajamar.

The activities to mark International Women's Day will continue tomorrow, Thursday, with the following program:

-12.30 Pm Memorial Institutional Act International Women's Day, with the awards 'Equity company', 'Equality in Sport' and reading the manifest institutional gender equality.

Equality Festival at the Cultural Center of Lobosillo.
