San Antonio Catholic University of Murcia (UCAM) has welcomed this morning about thirty students, all of the German university Fachhchschule für Oekonome & Management (FOM), which will continue their studies at the Catholic ADE for three months .
At the welcoming ceremony the rector intervened in the UCAM, Josefina Garcia, the vice dean of the degree in Business Administration and Management of UCAM, Gonzalo Wandosell, the rector of the University of Applied Sciences FOM, Hermeier Burghard, and the Vice Chancellor International Relations and Communication at the University Paul Blesa.
Notably, the German university students who completed their education in the UCAM for three months, receive their education with classes in English, which will be taught by teachers from Germany and Holland, as well as by professors of the institution University of Murcia.
In the words of principal UCAM-FOM PhD, Gonzalo Wandosell with this project, "there is a step in the internationalization of the university and students, in strategic partnership with the FOM."
On the other hand, the rector of the University, Josefina Garcia noted initiative as an experience framed the guidelines of the European Higher Education Area (EHEA).
"Right now the policy of collaboration between the FOM and the UCAM is part of the spirit of Bologna and the internationalization of the UCAM," he qualified.
Moreover, as the rector of the FOM, Burghard Hermeier, "this partnership goes beyond just teaching, it is a support between the German and the Spanish economy, and collaboration to adapting to Europe."
Fachhchschule für Oekonome & Management (FOM)
The FOM has 17 000 students across 20 study centers located in leading German cities.
Similarly, the Germanic University has nearly 200 accredited university professors in the Faculty of Economics of the FOM, which is the largest faculty of Germany.
