IU-Green Murcia today denounced the existence of two "black spots" on the road to La Nora Lane and The Jets, belonging respectively to the parishes of La Albatalía and The Arboleja.
According to the training, two separate lanes are heavily traveled and the "insecurity" threatens the movement of vehicles and especially pedestrians.
The lanes were visited yesterday by Speaker of IU-Greens in the city of Murcia, Esther Herguedas, the municipal coordinator, Francisco Muñoz, and the representative of the organization in the Arboleja, Mercedes Carrillo.
In Albatalía, the "black point" is on the road to La Nora, between number 49 and 57, where they have built 22 houses without changing the layout of what was once an orchard and lane now a dual carriageway.
The result is "a narrowing of the barely fit two cars, much less if one is a bus, a situation that is complicated by the unfinished state of the development works adjacent partial plan."
As for La Arboleja, "the situation is similar for the fencing of a site has reduced the area of the road, also two-way, to a width in some places is less than four meters and sharing vehicles and pedestrians, because there is no sidewalk. "
These circumstances "are exacerbated in times of entry and exit of the next school because converge many vehicles parked in the limited space available."
IU-Green will raise these issues before the Municipal Board and the municipal official Arboleja Traffic, "which corresponds to offer alternative solutions to ensure the safety of residents.
