The Centers for Women are committed to the knowledge of historical and artistic heritage (03/03/2012)

The Centers for Women are committed to knowing the historical, artistic and natural municipality, since it is the most popular course among those proposed by the Department of Political Equality and Development Cooperation.

13 of the 74 Centers for Women and Women's Associations of the municipality have applied to participate in this workshop including theoretical explanations and views.

In addition, most defendants have been the training courses of memory (8 centers), home care assistant (8 centers), English level II (7 centers) and Level II computer (7 centers).

The Department of Equality Policies and Development Cooperation, who runs Alicia Barquero, has offered the Centers for Women and Women's Associations of the town 24 different training courses and free.

Each center partnership of women and has elected to participate in a course during 2012.

In total is expected to attend these training activities around 1,500 members of Women's Centers and Women's Associations.

The courses are: Computer Science I and II, Internet and e-mail, use of information technology and communication, English I and II, assistant leisure, clinical assistant, home care assistant, assistant warden, development personal memory training, learn the artistic, education for participation, resources for self-employment, women engage in, coeducation and shared responsibilities, building gender equality seminar preventive physiotherapy (postural hygiene, urinary incontinence, self-massage and foot reflexology), seminar on menopause and laugh.

Each workshop lasts between 4 and 40 hours depending on the subject.

The courses are not limited in places, except the computer, for reasons of space that can seat between 15/20 people.

Those attending the course receive a diploma, provided they have completed 75% of the entire workshop.

In the municipality there are 74 Centers for Women and women's associations in neighborhoods and districts, involving over 12,000 women of all ages.
