Castro: "The PP will not give a damn clean energy" (17/02/2012)

The Socialist councilor claims that the decretazo imposed a halt to renewable energy will mean the loss of between 200 and 300 jobs less work in the municipality, and a fall in investment of hundreds of millions, the closure of small and medium enterprises and a decrease in revenue by the City

The Socialist Group mayor Juan Patricio Castro states that the punishment imposed by the RFP for renewable energy through the Royal Decree 1/2012 in a very negative impact on the future of Murcia.

According to Castro, with this decree, the PP jeopardizes investments and hundreds of citizens in this field of energy production will mean the loss of between 200 and 300 jobs in the municipality of Murcia, in addition to the closure of small and medium enterprises and a clear decrease in revenue by the City.

In football terms, explains Castro has not been a change in the rules, but the PP has suspended direct the party and not know what the circumstances of this suspension.

Therefore, the Socialist Group will present an initiative in Parliament this month asking the local government that claims to National Government to proceed with a reorganization of the Spanish electricity system that benefits the majority of citizens of the municipality, the Region and Spain.

Likewise, the socialist government will ask the House to urge the Valcárcel to submit a constitutional complaint to the Royal Decree of 27 January Ley1/2012 that punishment is a clear clean energy sector.

"The PP provided the same benefits, protecting this decretazo to big companies and sinking to small and medium-sized renewable energy companies, a key sector for changing the production model of the country," Castro ends.
