Begin the festivities of Santa Eulalia with the proclamation of Adela Martínez-Cache (29/01/2012)

The Councillor for the Environment, Adela Martinez-Cache, has this morning to kick off the festivities of Santa Eulalia district with the reading of the proclamation.

Subsequently held a Mass sung by the group huertano 'Alma huertano' of the Rock The zarangollo and neighbors have been enjoying a meal of fellowship with giant paella washed down with wine.

The festivities of this traditional neighborhood are dedicated to Murcia San Blas and Our Lady of La Candelaria.

Neighbors have organized more than twelve days of activities for young and old can enjoy the festivities.

The program of events is as follows:

-Monday, January 30.

Conference: "From an archaeological and architectural urban regeneration of a neighborhood: the case of Santa Eulalia 'Guerao by Francisco Lopez and Pablo Jose Lopez Egea.

Architects 'and Lopez Guerao Architecture', and Mario Garcia Ruiz, Archaeologist.

At the Museum of Fine Arts of Murcia, at 20.15.

-Tuesday 31 January.

Conference: 'The Image of San José and its author Gregory Molera' by Alejandro Romero Cabrera, BA in Art History.

At 20.15 hours in the Museo de Bellas Artes de Murcia.

-Wednesday February 1.

Tribute to the greatest of the neighborhood with awards 'Uncle Blas', Joseph Martin Rodero and 'Candelaria', Mercedes Bohajar Mante.

At 18.00 hours in the Club of the Third Age of Santa Eulalia.

All attendees will share a chocolate.

-Thursday February 2.

It celebrates the Feast of La Candelaria.

At 10 am Mass will begin at the church of Santa Eulalia.

At 12.30 hours, in the parish, there will be the blessing of candles and presented to the Virgin to the children born last year.

At 17.30 hours will be held the traditional procession through the streets of the images of San Blas, St. Joseph and Our Lady of La Candelaria.

After the procession there will be a solemn Mass sung by the Choir Rondalla and Chorus and Dance Group 'Virgen de la Vega'.

The imposition of candles are made after each mass.

-Friday 3 February.

At 12.30 hours there will be a Mass sung by the choir 'Salzillo' Club of the Third Age of Santa Eulalia.

The Eucharist will be chaired by the Rev. Francisco Pagan Garcia, pastor of Dolores de Murcia and member of the Association of Laryngectomees of Murcia 'San Blas'.

During the Mass will take place a wreath at San Blas, patron of the Association.

In the church of Santa Eulalia.

At 20 hours to hold another Eucharist sung by the Choir Fernández Caballero.

The imposition of candles are made after each mass.

-Saturday 4 February.

Coexistence is the day of the Divine Master in school.

At 9 o'clock starts the indoor football championship.

At 11 will hold a concert with lutes in the school auditorium.

At the end we will continue with indoor football championship and then will start on contest of paellas.

-On 6, 7 and February 9 will host the First Conference on Family and Life.

Day 6 will be offered the conference "In Defense of the Family 'given by Benigno Blanco Rodríguez, Attorney at Law from the University of Oviedo Forum President and Vice Family Foundation Red Mother.

Day 7 is scheduled to talk 'A new vision of teenagers' by Juan José Javaloyes, Doctor of Education, Deputy Director of the Centro Universitario Villanueva, family counselor and President of the European Institute of Education.

Day 9 will be held the conference "The courtship and marriage preparation 'by Javier Ros Codoñer, Director of the Master' Marriage and Family 'of John Paul II Pontifical Institute and professor at the Catholic University of Valencia.

All lectures are held in the Church of Santa Eulalia, at 20.30.

On Sunday February 12 is the feast of Santa Eulalia and end the festivities.

At 11 am there will be a Mass celebrated by Ginés García Beltrán, Bishop of Guadix.

At the end of the traditional procession will be held in Santa Eulalia on the streets of the neighborhood.

At 14 hours there will be food of brotherhood with a giant paella in the Plaza de La Candelaria.
