An approach to Floridablanca ", which has brought together many people who have crowded the capacity of the Plenary Hall.
In the same have been involved, besides the Mayor and the author, Professor Emeritus, University of Murcia, Teruel José Antonio Lozano, President of the Corporation BMN, Carlos Egea, and the Rector of the University of Murcia, Jose Antonio Cobacho.
In his speech, the Mayor has referred to the personality of the Count of Floridablanca perceived in the book.
Among its features especially wanted to highlight the qualities present in him and that are shared by Murcia: his "diplomacy vegetable garden and common sense", but also the fairness, tough, persevering, honest, intelligent and loyal supporter of its principles.
The book of José Luis Pardo can recover a transcendental figure of history "and helps to transcend the pride of being and feeling Murcia".
