Murcia City Council has given a municipal local Mountaineer Club Murcia for them to develop their activities with the aim of promoting the sport.
The space is located in the 507 group of neighborhood vivendas Infante Juan Manuel.
Mountaineer Club Murcia was founded in 1954.
This club has focused on the practice of the sports of mountaineering, climbing and caving, being in mountaineering and climbing where achievements have been more and more important.
Club members have managed to cross the Andes from north to south, climbing several eight-thousands, of Big Wall climbing, opening new avenues of great difficulty climbing all over the country, culminating transpyrenean journey all the peaks above 2,000 meters, expedition to Greenland, and so on.
