Acisclo the road between Santiago Diaz Steps]

The spokesman for the municipal group of IU-Greens in the city of Murcia, Herguedas Esther recalled that the full City Council unanimously approved of Murcia in April 2003 a motion on a proposal from the United Left in calling for the opening of a new road between the streets "Santiago Steps" and "Acisclo Diaz."

This vial is contained in the Plan General de Murcia so what was approved in the act was to ask the owner the free transfer of land and execute works.

Four years later with the return of the leftist coalition to City Hall, the group revived the issue on which nothing had been done, resulting in full session in June 2009 finally approved the draft direct occupation of the land for open this road would occupy 1130 m2 and have to be 72 meters long and one lane in each direction.

In a press release the then Town Planning, Fernando Berberena, said that the street would be open to traffic later that same year.

Herguedas complaint has already been a year and a half since these efforts and the road remains open, so that the council considers it unacceptable to continue stalling the redevelopment of the area traffic and providing preferential treatment to the owner of inadmissible land to which it was granted the possibility of building one floor in compensation for the transfer to the vial, because of all his claims are known to build in this area bypassing the rules of the General Plan and the breast.

Also remember that it is Herguedas promoter's obligation to maintain the chapel and the council should ensure the effective implementation of these obligations under the law because otherwise it would be neglecting the protection of a well cataloged.

Therefore Herguedas present an initiative at the next full asking the Town Planning running municipal agreements paving the road and enforce the law of equity to protect the chapel.
