The mayor of the PSOE PP Andrea Garries asks the service to maintain the summer school during August to support families and contribute to the reconciliation of work and family life also during the summer.
The mayor believes that these schools are a great relief for families, so this is a service that should also be offered during the month of August, especially those thinking of working families and the work found in these dates and are unable to leave their children anywhere
Garries calls a "contradictory and paradoxical" that while in charge of Social Welfare, Maruja Pelegrin, maintains the activities of the Summer School Comprehensive Center for Children, involving over 100 children in the middle of August, the other councils abolished the activities of all summer schools for a month and demonstrated that there is sufficient public demand.
Finally, the Socialist councilor calls on the PP, for next summer, this service extends the offer programming that all other councils in collaboration with the Municipal Councils.
"We are sure that there are organizations willing to organize activities to keep them summer school in August," he says.
