The City Council has opened the deadline for submitting projects to receive grants in order to promote grassroots sport in the municipality.
This call for the Department of Sports is aimed at clubs, associations and sports federations.
Eligible for assistance programs are sports initiation (school sports), equipment maintenance in federated competitions and competitions and sporting events.
Entities have a period of 30 calendar days from the publication of the notice in the Official Gazette of the Region of Murcia (BORM), on 12 April.
The Sports Council will assess the projects that are specifically sports activities in villages of Murcia, the involvement of disadvantaged young people with fewer opportunities, number of beneficiaries, used municipal facilities, sports technical employees, participation in school sport activities and lack or similar activity deficit, interest of the activity, benefits to the population of the municipality and broad social impact projects and sports.
