Tourism offers eight new routes to meet the Easter and the traditions and curiosities of the town (20/03/2011)

Begin March 26

One year the Department of Tourism has organized visits within the program 'Let Guide' to get to know different aspects of cultural tourism in the municipality.

The Councillor of Tourism, Maria Isabel Valcarcel, stressed that non-traditional tourist routes but rather to show the traditions of the municipality and curiosities that citizens generally do not know.

Four routes are planned on the centenary of the sculptor Roque Lopez, the town gardens, tower-houses of the garden and the tower and the Cathedral museum, and four routes of Holy Week in order to present various aspects of fraternities processions in Murcia.

The routes will begin on March 26 and are:

Centennial-II Roque López.

To mark the bicentenary of the death of the sculptor, was visiting the village of Alta, where the sculptor spent his childhood and adolescence to enter the workshop housed.
