The new campaign to publicize the resources offered by the Youth Guarantee program will reach nearly 19,000 young people (24/04/2018)

The collaboration between the Department of Economic Promotion, Culture and European Programs and the Infrastructure, Public Works and Services, through the employment and youth services, has allowed the launch of a campaign that seeks to bring the resources of the program of Juvenile guarantee to young people in the municipality, through the Internet and youth associations

Councilman Jesus Pacheco explained that "the experience developed previously from the Youth and Employment Services, in the field of attracting young people who respond to the profile required to access the Youth Guarantee, puts us in the indisputable need to bring information to young people and to establish points of motivation and connection with their needs and life projects ".

Obviously without losing the contexts in which the different profiles that can range from the proximity to situations of social exclusion are placed to the need for a greater qualification and experience that makes it easier to access employment.

The work methodology to bring information and motivation closer can vary between street work and direct contact with young people or a more general, global communication with the ability to radiate from social media platforms through specific, well-defined information products. precise, for its timely dissemination.

In this way, the aim is to transfer informative and motivational messages in different graphic formats adapted to the recipients and potential profiles of each context, in order to ensure that young people visualize the orientation itinerary and the potential results of personal improvement and acquire the motivation and the need for a higher professional qualification.

Thus, different areas of intervention will be created: Development of information products in digital format aimed at their dissemination in social networks and implementation of an information and motivation campaign through associations and youth groups, people of reference and influence among other types of collectives, social centers and citizens.

In coordination with the Informajoven Center of the Youth Service, different contents will be developed to provide information coverage of the Youth Guarantee program among the general population and citizen entities and key agents in particular, "In this way a process will be generated of informative synergy that contributes to develop a network of informative support towards the popularization of the program, contributing to disseminate the nature of the actions and create positive messages of motivation and approach to the program ", explained Councilwoman Rebeca Pérez.

The main beneficiaries are the youth population present in social networks, associations and youth groups, people of reference and influence among other types of groups, social centers and citizens.

These informative products are digital brochures, digital postcards, posters and didactic guides and videos.

Although the campaign will be developed through the Internet in order to reach the entire municipality, the digital communication nuclei most used by the different population sectors of the municipality will be taken into account in the dissemination of digital content, as well as the resources that the own entities have in the scope of social networks and blogs or own web pages, looking for an effect of greater diffusion.

These contents will answer various questions such as' What is Youth Guarantee and how to inspire young people to participate actively?

or 'Why should a young person participate in Youth Guarantee?'

in order to encourage young people to participate in the program.

The Citizen Network can also be used to channel Youth Guarantee information, coordinated by the Employment Service, to intervene directly with associations and increase the registration of young people from neighborhoods and districts of the city of Murcia in the Youth Guarantee Program .
