The International Film Festival of Murcia IBAFF (Ibn Arabi International Film Festival) is an initiative of the Center for Contemporary Culture Puertas de Castilla.

It was created in 2010 and its name is inspired by the figure of the great Sufi thinker Ibn Arabi, philosopher, poet and traveler born in Murcia in the twelfth century.

Through its different sections, the IBAFF festival aims to reflect the contradictions and paradoxes of contemporary film practice, an annual event that is a meeting place and a debate from which to feed the cinema with the energy of its avant-garde.
