The eight squares of supplies are wrapped in live music for Christmas (07/12/2017)

The municipal markets will host the next two Saturdays eight 'Concerts in the Markets' by Murcia groups, combining emerging talent and traditional trade.

The experience was launched only one day last year and after the good reception it had, on this occasion two days are celebrated.

Live music by Murcia emerging groups and traditional commerce come together this Christmas.

Next Saturday and the next, day 16, the customers of the eight squares of municipal supplies will acquire their products wrapped in a special atmosphere arising from the acoustic concerts of the young musicians, the attending public and the habitual consumers of the squares.

It will be the second time that the live music of the bands Murcia enter the squares of municipal supplies, in a joint initiative of the councils of Youth and Cooperation, Trade and Institutional Relations and Employment, Tourism and Culture, directed by Rebeca Pérez, Maruja Pelegrín and Jesús Pacheco.

It will be from 11:30 am to 2:00 pm, with the following programming:

El Carmen: Goodbye Nicole

Vistabella: Eliana Poveda.

Espinardo: The Cigalicas

Saturday 16:

Verónicas: Alex Juárez

La Alberca: Stupid Flander.

Saavedra Fajardo: The Wolf King

San Andrés: The Cigalicas

Cabezo de Torres: Eliana Poveda

All of them are young Murcian talents, since they are either winners or participants in previous editions of Creamurcia.

'The initiative highlights the City Council's commitment to young Murcians and the promotion and support of emerging artists, combining this objective with the promotion of food markets, which are the best representative scenario for our local trade', explained Rebeca Pérez, Councilor for Youth and Development Cooperation.
