The councilman of Finance and Contracting, Eduardo Martínez-Oliva, has convened this morning a meeting to be held next Monday to elucidate about the inclusion in the specifications of the new contract for maintenance of public lighting of workers of the current company adjudicataria of this service.
The session will be attended by representatives of the Legal and Contracting Services of the City Council and members of the municipal political groups.
In principle, the terms of reference did not include the possibility of subrogation since the technical reports indicated this because this clause is not provided for in the metal sector agreement to which this contract belongs.
In any case, Martínez-Oliva has warned that 'our first concern is the workers, which is why the predisposition of the Popular Group is to incorporate the clause for the maintenance of the current staff provided that we have the essential support of the competent technical services '
