Next Wednesday, November 22, at 20:00, the book of the totanera María Martínez "The theater of power: monarchy, council and society in Murcia at the end of the Middle Ages" is presented at the Moneo Building of the City of Murcia of editions Tres Fronteras, Murcia, 2017, according to the University in a press release.
María Martínez is a professor of Medieval History at the University of Murcia and director of the permanent UMU university extension center in Totana .
The book provides historical information on various representations of power in religious festivals, such as Christmas, Easter and Easter, the Corpus Christi, San Juan, prayers and pilgrimages, as well as various lay parties.
