The UCAM Murcia CB is doing a great job with its bases, and those mimbres are demonstrated with the calls of selections of this summer.
4 players from the university team have been summoned to Espanola this summer. These are Eddy Valentino Pinedo and his sister Marcela, who will go with the U13 male and female, respectively;
And Izan Almansa and José Tomás Martínez, who will play with U12.
Eddy Valentino will live his second call with Spain, after playing last May the Viladecans Tournament.
His great season with the UCAM Murcia Infantil A has not gone unnoticed, where he took his team with his teammates to the Minicopa Endesa de Vitoria, where he had a great role.
In addition, it went with the Federation Murcian to the Championship of Spain of Selections Autonomous, being the unique boy of the generation of 2004 that traveled.
His sister, María Marcela, will live his first call with Spain.
He has played the Children's League of the Region of Murcia with the university team and, like Eddy, was called to the Spanish Championship of Autonomous Nationalities, representing the Region of Murcia.
Both Izan Almansa and José Tomás Martínez have played all season with Infantil B, although they have participated in matches of the Alevín A. They will be their second call with Spain, as it coincided with Eddy Valentino in Viladecans in 2005.
Instead, José Tomás will experience his first experience with the national team.
Also it was summoned with the Selection Murciana Mini, like Izan, where they obtained the promotion to the special group.
Both have played tournaments such as UESC San Cugat, Casteldefels, Viladecans with Child B, or Villa de La Roda, where they got the third place for the first time.
