The objective of the University Diploma in Tourism Management, taught in the online modality by the UCAM, is to promote the training of Paraguayan youth in the area of tourism.
The course, which began on June 7 and ends on July 31, is born of collaboration between the National Secretariat of Tourism of Paraguay, a subsidiary of the Ministry of Tourism, and the Catholic University of Murcia, and is aimed at young people from 20 and 30 years with an entrepreneurial spirit.
These studies are part of the Youth Tourism Program of the Government of Paraguay.
The UCAM and the Ministry of Tourism of the Latin American country recently signed an agreement to improve the training quality of students.
The Minister of Tourism, Marcela Barcigalupo, said that they need to "work the training of our young people and the best way to do it is the hand of the UCAM."
When completing the University Diploma in Tourism Management, the student increases his possibilities of labor insertion in the field of tourism, as the management and the tourist advice, since the title is endorsed by a teaching institution.
The evaluation of these studies will be carried out through practical work and the contributions of the student in the debates of the virtual classroom.
From the first subject, the student has audiovisual and written material, in addition to the support of the faculty, to finish the course successfully.
