The University of Murcia (UMU) will celebrate on Monday, June 5, International Environmental Day with a consultation via whatsapp to address initiatives of the university community in environmental matters.
On Monday, the environmental management system of the UMU, Sustainable Campus, will compile the proposals of the university students, who can send them as an audio note via whatsapp on the phone 600 069 409 or write them in the stand enabled that day at the entrance of the Library General of the campus of Espinardo.
Proposals should focus on specific environmental awareness actions aimed at students and university staff, such as workshops, exhibitions or competitions on energy efficiency, recycling, sustainable mobility or use of resources.
The three selected activities will be included in the agenda of the next course and will be awarded;

Those who come to the information stand (from 10:00 a.m. to 13:00 p.m.) and participate reflecting their proposals in writing, will be presented with an ecological plant.
Other activities organized by the Vicerectorate of Economy, Sustainability and Health Sciences for that day are the deliveries of used clothing and stoppers to the association Proyecto Abraham and the Murcia delegation of the Spanish Federation of Rare Diseases, respectively.
