The Councilor for Social Rights, Conchita Ruiz Caballero, reported this morning that there is a first ruling of the Social Court in relation to the labor dispute of the Home Help Service
"This ruling is favorable to workers and ratifies the action of the City Council that approved in April to retain the invoices to the company and carry out a preventive order to seize the amounts owed to workers," explained Ruiz .
This agreement was adopted with the intention of guaranteeing the basic labor right of the worker to the perception of punctual of his remuneration and to avoid the damage that for the City Council would suppose the joint and several liability in the event that such default persisted at the end of the contract.
In this way, this first judicial measure guarantees the right of the workers and workers of the company to receive the wages claimed.
It should be remembered that at the beginning of May the Governing Board approved the award of the contract for the provision of the Home Help Service to the Temporary Union of Companies formed by CLECE, SA and Salzillo Servicios Integrales SLU
It will be in force from the 1st of June to the 31st of December 2019, for a total price for the entire duration of the contract of € 14,208,333.33.
