The Councilor for Sports and Health, Felipe Coello, Murcia City Council, presented this morning the fourth edition of the 'Murcia Marathon', which will take place on Sunday 29 January at 8:30 in the morning and in which they will participate 2,000 people, coming from all over the national territory and more than 30 foreign cities.
The event, organized by the Friends of the Marathon Club in collaboration with the Athletics Federation of the Region of Murcia, will run along Avenida Pío Baroja, Infante Don Juan Manuel and Puente de Hierro and will have its exit in Gran Vía.
Parallel to the Marathon, there is a 10KM race and a Half Skating Marathon, in which skaters from almost all Spanish regions participate.
The circuit consists of 21 km, in the case of Marathon, it is necessary to give it two rounds, crossing a great number of streets of several zones and neighborhoods of Murcia and like pinch to the same one, it has placed Meta in the Place of the Cardinal Belluga.
Along the route there will be various points with music and animation, spining classes and charangas, for fun of participants and general public.
The course is approved by the RFEA (Spanish Athletics Federation), so that the marks that are obtained, will have official validity for the National ranking.
All participants will receive a T-shirt and other memorabilia, and in the Marathon and Half Marathon, their corresponding finisher medal.
