The Governing Board has given approval to the subsidy of 30,000 euros for five taxi drivers who have renovated their taxis adapted during this exercise.
The Department of Development has awarded each of them 6,000 euros in order to improve the accessibility of public transport in the municipality and provide disabled people with adapted vehicles.
According to the latest study 'State of the fleet of accessible taxis in municipalities with more than 50,000 inhabitants in Spain', produced by Fundación ONCE and the Spanish Committee of Representatives of Persons with Disabilities (CERMI), Murcia is the first city in the Region Complies with the 5% quota of accessible taxis established by the current regulations.

- Rotary shifts for the weekends, Friday from 10:00 p.m. to 14:00 p.m. on Saturday;
And Saturdays from 14.00 to 6.00 hours on Sunday, depending on whether the license number is even or odd.
- Establish the groups of the different shifts, named with the letters A, B, C, D and E, with a red or black color, which must be in the vehicle with permanent and fixed adhesive, located on the right and Left of the vehicle.
- The mandatory daily duty shifts are determined, with the service offer being 60% of the fleet from 5:00 to 3:00 p.m. and 40% from 3:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.
The hours of 1'00 to 5'00 can be made for 100% of the licenses.
