The first Tour of Murcia Hat runs from Plaza Belluga streets to the Plaza Circular Alfonso X through next Sunday at 12:00 hours, to pay homage and give the space it deserves this addition.
The City of Murcia, through the Department of Youth and Development Cooperation, who heads Rebeca Perez has participated in organizing this fun cultural event with the milliners Juan Nicolas and Carmen Navarro.
This initiative "has already been done in other cities of Spain like Madrid or Barcelona and we have a great opportunity to be held in Murcia for the first time," said Rebeca Perez.
In addition, "it is a great opportunity for lovers hat matching his, either hat, headdress, pamela, turban, etc.
and promote this supplement, "said Perez.
Youth Councilwoman explained that the City Council of Murcia "is betting on fashion, because it is a real job generator engine and this event greatly favors local commerce."
At the end of the tour, specifically in the Plaza Circular will be a photocall for photos to be uploaded to social networks and among the leaders different gifts like body treatments, aesthetic, dinners and photo sessions will be raffled.
This ride is inspired by the American concept of 'Easter Parade', popular in New York, where traditionally on Easter Sunday is closed to traffic 5th Avenue for people to take a walk with hat.
Alvaro Peña, 42 Institute, Hispanic Restaurant, Elena Merino, Nenos Paper, José Quintela Photography, Hair & Beauty Maria Rosique are some of the collaborators in organizing the event.
