It strengthen the competitiveness and sustainability of SMEs in the region through its active participation in programs of European funding Horizon 2020, was the main objective of the workshop that took place during yesterday morning in the business incubator of ITM Institute of Technology UCAM .
The initiative, coordinated through the cluster CitizeM, which the Catholic University is part since last April, brought together representatives of the various partners to pool, among other issues, best practices in the field of innovation and researching smart cities at European level, identifying areas of interest and possibilities for cooperation between research centers, companies and organizations that already have extensive experience in this field.
Sergio hand Girbés, Consulting Zabala, he also worked on the definition of roles to be assumed by companies in any proposals for European projects, as well as search tools consortia for proper execution.
a round of individual meetings between different stakeholders opened in participating in this initiative, in order to deepen the existing cooperation possibilities for forthcoming calls for H2020 to end the meeting.
