More than 100 adults enjoy the magic and fantasy of theater in Barriomar (23/05/2016)

Magic and fantasy of the theatrical performance 'Abra Cadabra' imagination has made more than 100 over the three centers of Barriomar Day Care, Beniaján and Cabezo de Torres flying, making for an hour and a half children.

This activity, launched by the Department of Social Rights, headed Conchita Ruiz Caballero, is framed in the programming of the cultural week of the centers, approved by the Governing Board last week, as a means to promote the ludic experiences cultural, recreational users of the three centers.

To carry out this initiative, the City of Murcia has allocated an amount of 21,000 euros, so as activities are carried out both during the Cultural Week and throughout the whole year, including theater, workshops and cultural visits .

The Minister of Social Rights, Conchita Ruiz stressed that these activities "are very important for our seniors, because they promote coexistence, maintaining their skills and participation in their environment."

In addition, he recalled that thus "reinforce and complement the services of health and social care provided to the elderly throughout the whole year and continuously in the three centers."

The Day Care Centers Municipal, dependent on the Department of Social Rights are facilities through which personal care services and care sociomedical to older people affected by different degrees of dependence and limitation of personal autonomy are provided.

They are a valuable resource for family support as it offers comprehensive care to the personal needs of beneficiaries / as during the day, thereby favoring the permanence in their usual living environments.
