More than 300 students of Art gather these days at the University of Murcia (UMU) in the Third National Congress of Young Art Historians, whose theme is "Thy light is eclipsed: the arts fighting forgotten artist".
Organized by the Department of Art History at the University of Murcia, Congress puts special emphasis on the commemorations this year for the centenary of artists and writers such as Bosch, Cervantes or Shakespeare.
In addition to the presentations and panel discussions in which we reflect on the many dimensions of memory and remembrance, the conference included a tribute to the painter Ramón Gaya (through the work of filmmaker Gonzalo Ballester) and the presentation of book "Francisco Salzillo and the school of sculpture Caravaca," Christopher Belda and Indalecio Pozo.
