The UCAM starred in the award ceremony of the II Health Awards 2000, editor of the journal Medical Writing to the Health of the Region of Murcia held yesterday at the Hotel Nelva of Murcia.
This award is in recognition of the training of the Degree in Medicine at the Catholic University in collaboration with the Hospital de Molina, with which an agreement was signed recently on the campus of St. Jerome.
Next to the Associate Dean of Medicine Degree UCAM, Jerome received the award Lajara the managing director of the Hospital de Molina, Pedro Hernandez Jimenez, in an event that was chaired by the Minister of Health of the CARM, Encarna Guillen.
That agreement's main objectives are conducting outreach activities, training and research related to medicine in particular and health in general.
Also in the agreement it is stated that the undergraduate and master's degree related to this area, can develop in the molinense hospital curricular and extracurricular practices in the different specialties that comprise the medical center (ER, Traumatology, Internal Medicine, etc. ).
This award, Jerome Lajara says that "we are very pleased with this recognition they have given us along with the Hospital de Molina for the best training activities in the Region of Murcia" and adds that "adds value to both the practical training provided students of the Degree in Medicine at the Catholic University in this hospital, as teaching college graduate taught to medical professionals of this hospital. "
